THE RESPONSE

“There really is no definite me! I’m always being redefined
by the situation that I’m in!” the rat said to his friend,
who responded, “I’m always being defined by my need to eat,
have sex, and find a safe place to sleep!”
“Sounds like you’re very much like humans as I know them!”
the first rat answered.
Shaking his head, the second rat replied, “I sure hope not!
I can’t think of anything worse that I’d rather be!”
